New Business
Tom K reports on his follow up conversation with Marvin regarding the Bridging the Gap program. There is no formal BTG down here in District 1, all done informally but doing well. Discussion around what/how we may expand this more in District 1? Do we need to?
District 17 has a very active BTG program
Vinny opened discussion regarding setting up a written correspondence program for inmates and AA volunteers that may not be able or ready to physically attend meetings at the facility. Logistics of how to coordinate anonymity with address etc discussed. Gary from CSO expressed willingness to potentially coordinate through CSO office.
Please bring this information back to your groups and let them know that there are several service positions available at corrections. A great way to give to get involved and give back!
7th Tradition
$9.00 was collected and given to CSO for use of the room for our meeting.
